For me, teaching and learning are both about exploration, inquiry and experimentation. I equip students with the practical skills of lead-sheet reading, accompaniment styles, transposition and improvisation so they can take their creativity and love of music in many directions.

I ask lots of questions to help students make their own musical decisions and take ownership of their interpretations. I’ve taught students ages 4 to 60, and have found that at every age, the discovery of how music can communicate and connect people is richly rewarding.

I believe in getting to know my students and adapting lessons according to their unique learning styles and goals. Although my lessons are mainly designed based upon ABRSM and Trinity curriculum, I don’t use a prescribed system but rather tailor each student’s program to them individually.

A little more

As the daughter of esteemed artist parents, my musical journey commenced at a tender age. At the age of seven, I was nominated by the Hubay National Violin Competition as one of five young musicians to be considered for the coveted violin performance award. Fortunately, my successful rendition of Antonio Vivaldi's concerto in G-major secured my name a spot on the esteemed list of nominees.

My inquisitive nature and unwavering passion for music prompted me to participate in an international competition in 2010. It was at this competition that I was awarded the distinguished title of "the best classical violinist," and subsequently invited to pursue my performance degree at the Conservatory as a young musician. Upon graduating, I was offered a remarkable role at the National Theatre, which was a testament to my exceptional musical abilities.

In 2018, I was presented with a scholarship opportunity from the University in Oxford to further my studies at the Conservatory of Queensland, Australia. During my time there, I honed my skills and developed a mastery of the finest classical proficiencies. This was evidenced by my ability to perform concertos at the degree level as a soloist with the university orchestras, solidifying my status as a top-tier classical musician.
